Cold Hard Truths Book 2, and other projects

Firstly, I'd like to thank the readers and reviewers who've made the effort to read my first full length novel, Vices. I'd received a lot of positive feedback, and it's all very humbling to hear.

I'm currently working on Cold Hard Truths #2, which is titled Thrills, and I'm hoping to be finished the manuscript in the next couple of months. From there, I'll be sending it away to my wonderful editor over at Loose Id.

A few readers have wondered how many books will be in this series, and that, I honestly cannot say. What I can confirm is that the story arc between Carver and Jones will be completed after book #2. If the series carries on in the same world, it will focus on other main characters.

What I will say about Thrills is that it's told from Carver's POV, and is likely more action packed than Vices. I can't, however, promise the romance to be any more prevalent in the second book, but I think a few heart strings might be tugged here and there.

I've recently finished a manuscript titled Hate Your Lovers. It's around 50k at the moment, since I seem to like to keep them short (and not so sweet), but that could change in the future. It's a M/M Contemporary Romance that might be considered high on the angst-scale.
Since I'm sitting on this manuscript and basically twiddling my thumbs, there's no future publication date in the near future

---

I always have a hundred ideas for stories in my mind, but I need to filter some of them out.

I'm working on a short YA contemporary (hopefully humorous) story. Mattie "Maps" Wilson is a little eccentric, but finds himself reigned in by the maybe-a-little-slow Lane Rhodes. I haven't married this story to a title yet.

I have the barest of bones outlined for a contemporary story about the journey of an ex-high school jock, Luke, who's battling his way through rehab. This one will likely take another good nine to twelves months, at least, because of the amount of research I'm putting into it.

Despite my other projects, I'm putting everything on the back burner to try to finish Thrills ASAP. I can't wait for readers to see what I put Jones and Carver through next. :)

Vices - August Release & WIPs

I'm very excited to say that my dark and gritty Cyberpunk romance has found its new home at Loose Id and will, hopefully, be coming out this August.

The novel is titled Vices and will be part one of two in my Cold Hard Truths series. While I don't have any other books set in this universe planned quite yet, there's always a possibility that I'll have a hard time letting this one go without a fight.

Vices will be very different from any other story I've written thus far. It's a dark piece of Cyberpunk action. There will be heroes who get off on hurting each other, cyborg prostitutes, sniper rifles, laser machetes, nano-bots, drug abuse, betrayal, conspiracy theories, gun play, and of course, romance.

As for other WIPs, there are at least a dozen. Not really, but I can't seem to focus on any one project.
I'm working on a more adult contemporary novel which has eaten up about 20k words, and a shorter story that I'm not sure will ever see the light of day.

That being said, I need to find myself some time to read some of the wonderful LL event stories I've been hearing about over at GR. In fact, I'm going to go do that right this moment (hopefully).
